NEWTs Magical Readathon 2019 TBR

It is time for the NEWT’s exams! This is part of the Magical Readathon hosted by Gi at BookRoast, where we sit the OWL exams for the month of April, NEWTS for the month of August, and Extra Credit throughout the year. It’s always so much fun even if you’re not a Harry Potter fan!

I am going for the Mind Medic career, which means I need to get an O (Outstanding) in Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts, and E (Exceeds Expectations) in Potions, Transfiguration, and Muggle Studies. In order to get the grades A, E, and O, of which each has a prompt, you’ll need to read a book that fits that prompt. For ‘Acceptable’ you read a book to fit that prompt for that subject, for ‘Exceeds Expectations’ you’ll need to complete the prompt for ‘Acceptable’ before ‘Exceeds Expectations’, and for ‘Outstanding’ you’ll need to complete ‘Acceptable’ and ‘Exceeds Expectations’ before starting. See the Announcement video from Gi for further information.

There is a Magical Twitter and Instagram page, as well as a Discord group! The Google Docs for all the prompts and career handbook will be found linked.
