Seasonal Reading Lists

AUTUMN Reading List [2018]

It is near the end of September already (say what?) so it’s time for a new season, and not just any season, my favourite season, AUTUMN! I have quite a lot of atmospheric books, some with dark plots, magical realism, and everything else that just makes for a perfect book to read when the weather gets cold, rainy and gray (in the UK anyway!) I have a lot fun doing these lists because I enjoy trying to find books I could be in the mood for during the season

  1. City of Ghosts – Victoria Schwab
  2. A Study in Charlotte – Brittany Cavallaro
  3. The Raven Boys – Maggie Steifvater
  4. Tangleweed & Brine – Deirdre Sullivan
  5. Hunting Prince Dracula – Kerri Maniscalco
  6. The Ocean at the End of the Lane – Neil Gaiman
  7. Sherlock Holmes – Arthur Conan Doyle
  8. Uprooted – Naomi Novik
  9. If We Were Villians – M.L. Rio
  10. A Madness So Discreet – Mindy McGinnis
  11. Graceling – Kristin Cashore
  12. Three Dark Crowns – Kendare Blake
  13. In The Drowning Deep – Mira Grant
  14. You – Caroline Kepnes
  15. The Extinction Trials – S. M. Wilson
  16. A Skinful of Shadows – Frances Hardinge
  17. The Naturals – Jennifer Lynn Barnes
  18. The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet – Becky Chambers
  19. A Discovery of Witches – Deborah Harkness
  20. Dark Matter – Blake Crouch
  21. The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August – Claire North
  22. Strange Weather – Joe Hill
  23. A Thousand Beginnings and Endings – Various
  24. The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender – Leslye Walton
  25. Final Girls – Riley Sager
  26. Norse Mythology – Neil Gaiman
  27. Everybody Sees The Ants – A.S. King
  28. Shadow and Bone – Leigh Bardugo

So what are your plans for Autumn? Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them? And are they any hear which you think I need to prioritise? I’d love to know!
