AUTUMN Reading List [2017]

It’s now September so now we can officially say summer is over and autumn is here! Autumn is by far my favourite season; the leaves, chilly weather, hot chocolate, fireplace, jumpers, all the best stuff!

It also means another reading list. These are the looks that I mostly want to read in the next few months, and they all also have that ‘autumnal’ feel about them which also makes them well-suited for the season.

/ Bird Box – Josh Malerman
/ Peter Pan – J.M. Barrie
/ Everybody See The Ants – A.S. King
/ Spellbook of the Lost and Found – Moïra Fowley-Doyle
/ The Serpent King – Jeff Zentner
/ The Martian – Andy Weir
/ Jane Eyre – Charlotte Brontë
/ Jane Steele – Lyndsay Faye
/ Code Name Verity – Elizabeth Wein
/ Shadow & Bone – Leigh Burdugo
/ Tess of the D’Urbervilles – Thomas Hardy
/ Flame in the Mist – Reneé Ahdieh
/ The Hobbit – J.R.R. Tolkein
/ My Lady Jane – Cynthia Hand/Brodi Ashton/Jodi Meadows
/ The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender – Leslye Walton
/ Murder on the Orient Express – Agatha Christie
/ The Graveyard Book – Neil Gaiman
/ The Girl in 6E – A.R. Torre
/ A Monster Calls – Patrick Ness
/ The Remains of the Day – Kazuo Ishiguro

/ And Then There Were None – Agatha Christie
/ A Tale of Two Cities – Charles Dickins
/ City of Bones – Cassandra Clare
/ IT – Stephen King
/ Atonement – Ian McEwan
/ The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde – Robert Louis Stevenson
/ Owls Do Cry – Janet Frame
/ The Childrens Act – Ian McEwan

I am excited for all of these books and honestly want to pick all of them up now! Alas, a lot can change in three months, and a lot of books can be bought/discovered in that time aswell… but I do want to get to most of these and *should* appear in my monthly priority reads. If not, I probably will read them in the Winter.
